A team of BIT Year 3 students from Itahari International College secured the Best AI Solution Category at the International AI in Healthcare Hackathon 2026, a remote global competition organised by CareDevi, a US-based healthcare technology company. The hackathon brought together participants from around the world to develop innovative AI-powered solutions addressing real-world healthcare challenges.
Representing the college were Safal bhattarai, Saksham Neupane, Aaditya Sigdel and Rupen Rana Magar, who impressed an esteemed panel of judges comprising renowned technology and healthcare professionals from the United States. Their innovative solution, technical excellence, and collaborative approach earned them international recognition among a highly competitive field of participants.
This achievement reflects the global competitiveness of Itahari International College students and reinforces the institution's commitment to developing future-ready graduates with expertise in artificial intelligence, healthcare innovation, and real-world problem-solving.
